Dromomani is a journey along "Hærvejen" (an ancient trackway in Denmark and Schleswig-Holstein) with horse-drawn carriage, theater, music and dance, where
we as professionals Danish and foreign artists, meet children and adults where they live.

The slow wander and the low pace provide not only the soul but also the audience a chance to follow the journey.
Since we do not move no faster than a pair of healthy legs can keep pace, we invite the audience to follow along.

We come from Denmark, Poland, France and Italy and we perform theater with horses, outdoor dance and parades, music and dance from Denmark and Eastern Europe, French street theater and impressive set design.

During the journey we visit among others local artists, cultural institutions, persons, schools, educational institutions and scouts, and we invite them all to a cultural dialog.

It is an art in itself to get the audience not just to clap, but to participate with spontaneously expressions which each of the participating artists have many years of experience with.

The dialogue also happens among the participating artists themselves. Inspired by the weather, common ground and the dialogue with the people along the way we will create a collaborative performance that will be shown during Aarhus Festuge 2011.
